UIM Training and Education delivers a standard set of World recognised Training Courses for all involved in Powerboat and PWC Use, Whether you are using your craft for Competition or leisure use, there is a course for you. The PBANI working closely with the UIM has established a number of UIM Training Centres throughout the island of Ireland.
UIM Small Craft and PWC Training

UIM Youth Development
The UIM Propstars training programme teaches competitors and officials of all ages the secrets of safe, responsible and environmentally friendly racing.
For the YDP to succeed we need you to support this extremely important programme by encouraging local volunteers to take on the role of a UIM Propstars Ambassador. He/she will be prepared for this role by an expert UIM instructor as well as having the backup of qualified Powerboat Instructors. The aim is to build a firm foundation with the YDP where our sport can flourish and grow. together we achieve this, so let’s build a bright future together.
UIM Race Officials Training
Each year, we see UIM International Racing Events held throughout the World, From Circuit, Offshore, Pleasure Navigation, PWC/Aquabike, E1 Electric Racing. For these event to run in a safe, responsible and environmentally friendly manner, It takes a large number of Officials, Sporting Officials, Technical Officials, Rescue Officials, Rescue Officials and Environmental Officials.
All these Officials need a level of Experience and knowledge to be able to effectively carry out their riles. To aid in this and to have a Worldwide Standard, UIM Training and Education has established a suite of courses to enable officials to be trained to a set standard.
